The Story Behind SET
Studio Set was founded in May 2016 by professional dancers and choreographers Geneviève Bolla and Miriah Brennan. After years of experience teaching STOTT PILATES in different studios around Montreal, Miriah and Geneviève decided to open their own teaching space, reflecting their unique vision. Both believe in a contemporary approach to Pilates. They love creating classes with diversified routines that challenge coordination, concentration, cardio, and deep muscle connection. Their experience as dance professionals has helped them develop a precise eye, and an ability to constantly renew themselves and their classes. Their will to make Pilates accessible to everyone pushed them to open multiple types of classes for a clientele with different needs. Whether their clients are athletes, men, dancers, beginners or injured, Studio Set will accommodate them.
Studio Set is Mile End and Outremont's first boutique studio offering group Reformer and BootyBarre®. Easy to access, Set is located on Laurier Avenue West, in front of the 51 and 80 bus stops, and a 10-minute walk from the Laurier Metro. Because of its high ceilings, big windows, and sleek mid-century decor, the studio is warm and stylish. The studio has two group classrooms, a private room and changing rooms, all featuring artwork from local Montreal artists.
